Lipton Soothing Moments Spiced Chai

Lipton Soothing Moments Spiced Chai

I found this nice old Lipton tea bag in the depths of our coffee/tea cabinet and it didn’t have an accompanying box. I have a feeling that Lipton doesn’t produce this certain brand of tea anymore, as I had trouble finding it anywhere online (accompanying picture is the most similar item I could find). I steeped the tea for about eight minutes, but if you can get your hands on this stuff, I would definitely recommend more time than that. The tea by itself seemed sort of bland but did have a small spiced kick to it that was strongly complimented by the addition of milk and honey. I’ve had Chai tea many a time at cafes and this Soothing Moments brand did not measure up to the freshly concocted tea from your local coffee shop. Good tea for a day when your fingers still tingle from the cold weather outside. The aroma, if not the taste, will do a decent job of warming your spirits.

  1. As a tea aficionado, I would love to purchase massive quantities of this particular brand of tea. I would be much obliged if you could post a HYPERLINK to a website where I could purchase this tea (perhaps the same website you FAILED TO CITE as the source of your tea's price, eh Mr. Herbatka-lover?).

As for the review itself, I found it mildly helpful but I would have preferred a more extensive, poetic description of the tea's visual appearance post-steeping.

  2. Although the choice of wording in this first blog by Herbata lover is somewhat eloquent, I find myself wondering if the blogger's taste is mature enough to critique such a specific type of tea. I, like blogger Edzio whom I respect deeply for his wise comment, would enjoy if the blogs would be more specific with certain descriptions.

With an attitude of pure superiority over Herbabta lover, but a deep respect for Edzio, I await the next blog.

  3. As a true connoisseur of tea, I can understand where Mr. Liptonchai and Ms. Herberno's distaste for this particular blog stems from. However, I think that this intriguing review was excellent for such a tea-novice! I most certainly appreciate the fact that I will now know not to ever try this unworthy brew. So, "Herbata-lovers", don't be discouraged! Reading posts by such experts as Edzio may increase your ability to properly enjoy and critique such herbal delights.

Overall I say kudos Herbatka-lovers! I anxiously await your next post!
